General Information: (C-6) Course Materials

The Cabinet and Millwork Manual briefly covers the major topics of the State exam including Veneer, Abrasives, Adhesives, Wood Joints, and Doors. The manual also includes brief summaries of some of the Woodworking Institute of California’s Standards as well as a Glossary. The last section of the Cabinet and Millwork Manual covers the Health and Safety Orders.

Audio/Video Lectures: The Math Review Lecture covers the math formulas in the first part of the Cabinet and Millwork manual. The Cabinet and Millwork lecture covers the topics addressed in the manual specific to the C-6 trade exam. The Health and Safety Lecture covers the Health and Safety Orders at the end of the Cabinet and Millwork manual.

Cabinet and Millwork Practice Exams: Please be sure that you study all of the practice exams, it is important to read and understand each question, and read every word of the explanations.

It is necessary to learn the principles behind the question because the State’s questions may be worded differently.

The C-6 Cabinet and Millwork Contractor’s Computer-Assisted Practice Tests load directly onto your computer. The program presents questions one at a time, automatically scores your exam, presents you with a grade, and lists each question answered incorrectly along with the correct answer.

General Information: Law and Business - Course Materials

The Law and Business Manual is conveniently broken into four separate chapters, each with its own Glossary of Terms. The manual is written in layperson’s language and includes sample forms as well as summaries and checklists to help prepare you for the State Exam. There are no complicated legal codes to decipher.

The Law and Business Lectures cover each chapter of the Law and Business Manual and the Law and Business Review questions in the back of the manual. All of the lectures are in both audio and video formats.
