General Information: (C-10) Course Material

The Electrical Manual briefly covers the major topics of the State exam including Basic Electrical Theory, Elect Materials, Electrical Tools, Equipment, and Meters, and Plan and Circuit Symbols. The manual also includes summaries from the National Electrical Code and Review Questions. The last section of the Electrical Manual covers the Health and Safety Orders.

The Audio/Video Lectures: The Math Review Lecture covers the math formulas in the first part of the Electrical manual. The Electrical (C-10) lecture cover the topics addressed in the manual specific to the C-10 trade exam. The Electrical Review Questions Lecture covers the Electrical Review Questions in the back of the manual The Health and Safety Lecture covers the Health and Safety Orders at the end of the Electrical manual.

The Electrical Practice Exams: Please be sure that you study all of the practice exams and the update. It is important to read and understand each question, and read every word of the explanations.

It is necessary to learn the legal and business principles behind each question because the State’s questions may be worded differently.

The C-10 Electrical Contractor’s Computer-Assisted Practice Tests load directly onto your computer. The program presents questions one at a time, automatically scores your exam, presents you with a grade, and lists each question answered incorrectly along with the correct answer.

General Information: Law and Business - Course Materials

The Law and Business Manual is conveniently broken into four separate chapters, each with its own Glossary of Terms. The manual is written in layperson’s language and includes sample forms as well as summaries and checklists to help prepare you for the State Exam. There are no complicated legal codes to decipher.

The Law and Business Lectures cover each chapter of the Law and Business Manual and the Law and Business Review questions in the back of the manual. All of the lectures are in both audio and video formats.
